Oriental Beauty Tea is a unique and exquisite Taiwanese tea, world-renowned after being named by the Queen of England, who was captivated by its elegance. Miaoli is one of the three most famous production areas for Oriental Beauty Tea. This particular tea is sourced from a champion-grade tea plantation in Miaoli and is cultivated using organic and eco-friendly farming methods. Grown in an unpolluted natural environment, the tea is personally nurtured by Taiwan’s champion tea master, Mr. Li Zhanfeng, whose expertise and refined craftsmanship elevate the quality of this tea to its peak.

Oriental Beauty Tea is the result of a natural phenomenon caused by the bites of tea green leafhoppers (Jacobiasca formosana), which trigger a defense reaction in the tea plant known as the “withering tip” effect. This gives rise to a distinctive combination of honey, fruity, and cinnamon-like aromas that become more pronounced with aging. The brewed tea presents a beautiful amber hue and a mellow, smooth taste.

The tea leaves are covered in prominent white fuzz (known as "white tips"), and the fermentation level ranges from 60% to 75%, making it the most heavily fermented among oolong teas. It is also known as Bai Hao Oolong (White Tip Oolong). Remarkably, this tea has a shelf life of up to 30 years.
